British design company KAVA Surfaces is entering the Swedish market. As the first tangible result of its expansion, the company has secured its first order from Karlstad Innovation Park, which has commissioned products for its new premises ahead of an upcoming relocation. The deal marks the beginning of KAVA Surfaces’ long-term expansion into the Swedish market.
The company creates distinctive surfaces from recycled coffee grounds and other organic waste materials. The surfaces can be customised in colour and finish and are used across a wide range of applications, from furniture, tables and kitchens to wall panels in restaurants, hotels and other commercial spaces.

Already established in the UK market, KAVA Surfaces works with a diverse range of customers, from independent cafés and private clients to major brands and multinational companies. The company is now looking to establish a presence in Sweden as a base for serving the wider Scandinavian market.
