EPS (expanded polystyrene) is found everywhere today, in everything from styrofoam around home appliances, disposable packaging, for the molding of customized solutions for components in the construction industry.
CellOfibers is developing a material that is biodegradable, sustainable and basically has the same properties as today’s EPS. The material is cellulose-based, malleable and will be classified as paper in the recycling chain.
