PulpaTronics is making waves across industries with a series of high-profile recognitions in 2025. From opportunities within the aviation industry to recognition for their advanced materials, the company is being celebrated for its pioneering work and rising talent.
Rising Star Award, Women Innovators in Foundation Industries
Earlier this year Chloe So, the Co-Founder & CEO of PulpaTronics, took home the Rising Star award at the Women Innovators in Foundation Industries (WINFI) Awards, hosted by Innovate UK. The award spotlighted emerging leadership in science and innovation.
– As an aspiring young leader, being recognised by WINFI is such an honor for me, it definitely encourages and empowers me to keep pushing the boundaries of science and innovation at PulpaTronics, said Chloe.

In addition, PulpaTronics was named a winner at the Inspirational Business Women in STEM & Construction awards. The accolade recognised the company’s impact on both climate innovation and gender representation in technical fields. Chloe explains;
– I am so grateful for this recognition, it inspires me to continue fighting for climate change and to also continue supporting other women in STEM.

Sustainability is a core theme
Sustainability of course continues to be a core theme in the company’s success. PulpaTronics won the Sustainability Category in the NextGen Aviation Challenge by Spanish airline Vueling. This win paves the way for the company to pilot its cutting-edge tags with the airline. Adding to their growing list of accomplishments, PulpaTronics was also the winners of this year’s ThePackHub’s Packaging Startup Awards and named a top 20 finalist in the prestigious Global Change Award by the H&M Foundation.

– Having been selected as one of the top 20 finalists for the Global Change Award is a really big honour. We are excited to find out who the winners are! said Barna Soma Biro, the other co-founder and CTO of the company.
Sting Bioeconomy is proud to work with a company that, as 2025 unfolds, continues to prove that innovation driven by purpose — and powered by women — is shaping a more sustainable future across industries.
