Edward Murray appointed CEO of HEJMAS

Edward Murray has been appointed CEO of HEJMAS Agrifibre Technologies AB. The appointment is primarily a practical solution, but it also reflects a deeper commitment to the company.

– Leading the company from another time zone and without BankID can become a bit complicated. We therefore decided to make a quick adjustment. Marek Hejduk will become Chairman and take responsibility for research and development, while I step into the CEO role full-time. It feels both exciting and motivating, says Edward Murray.

The company’s main focus going forward is its upcoming capital raise.

– We are currently working on a smaller funding round that we expect to close during the first half of the year, Edward continues.

At the same time, the company is preparing the launch of its first batch of paper, aimed at customers producing personal hygiene products.

– We have a strong collaboration with farmers in Värmland, where we cultivated crops in 2024 and 2025 with good results. These harvests now form the foundation for our first commercial production run. This allows us to start generating revenue on a small scale while also demonstrating the low technical risk for those investing in the company. We show that our technology can run in existing industrial facilities and that our product is commercially ready for high-quality applications such as plasters, sanitary pads, tampons, and other personal hygiene products.
