Delegation Visit from The Federation of Swedish Farmers, LRF, Lays the Groundwork for Exciting Collaboration

Last Thursday, a significant meeting took place as a delegation from LRF (The Federation of Swedish Farmers) visited Sting Bioeconomy and Paper Province in Karlstad. The purpose of the day was to get to know each other’s organizations, create a platform for discussion and knowledge exchange, and to initiate a future collaboration.

LRF presented its operations and, in turn, received insightful presentations from both Sting Bioeconomy and Paper Province, as well as from the research environment Pro2BE at Karlstad University and three accelerator companies. The focus was on highlighting how various initiatives can work together to create a comprehensive view of innovation and development.

Stefan Frodesson presented the research initiative Pro2BE, which involves 35 researchers. The initiative, which closely collaborates with Sting Bioeconomy, Paper Province, and Region Värmland, focuses on processes and products for a sustainable bioeconomy.

Participating accelerator companies that presented their operations were Lixea, Happie Camp, and HEJMAS.

Gunnar Gidefeldt, Head of Communications at LRF

– It feels very exciting. There’s a lot that connects to our work, and we’re particularly interested in collaborating on green initiatives that create added value for our members, said Gunnar Gidefeldt, Head of Communications at LRF.

– It was a very rewarding day. By gaining an understanding of each other’s perspectives and areas of expertise, we’re laying a strong foundation for valuable collaboration going forward, said Victor Isaksen, CEO of Sting Bioeconomy.
