British eco-design company KAVA Surfaces has joined Sting Bioeconomys accelerator program. The company develops innovative surface materials made from recycled coffee grounds and other organic by-products.
By combining coffee grounds with natural fibres, bio-based binders and environmentally friendly surface treatments, the company creates sustainable and visually distinctive materials for furniture, interiors and architectural projects.
The products are rooted in a circular approach in which waste materials are transformed into new resources. The company offers a wide range of colours and textures made from natural ingredients such as charcoal, marble powder, fruit pits and metal powders, giving each surface a unique and organic character.

– We are very pleased to welcome KAVA Surfaces to Sting Bioeconomy. They demonstrate how innovative circular thinking can transform coffee grounds into products that are sustainable, functional and aesthetically appealing. We are excited to support the company’s continued growth and development, says Victor Isaksen, CEO, Sting Bioeconomy
– We are delighted to join Sting Bioeconomy and look forward to the collaboration. Through the accelerator, we gain access to valuable strategic business advice and a network that will play an important role in our journey ahead, says Jani Lemut, CEO, KAVA Surfaces
