Lumine North Takes Home This Year’s SKAPA Talang Prize in Värmland

Lumine North has been awarded the prestigious SKAPA Talang Prize, a recognition that highlights young innovators for their contributions to innovative, sustainable, and forward-looking solutions.

Lumine North is developing a new type of LED luminaire made from bio-based materials – without compromising on performance or lifespan.

The jury’s motivation read as follows:
Jacqueline and the team at Lumine North are boldly stepping into the future by replacing traditional metal materials with forest-derived raw materials – an innovative approach that challenges a conservative industry. With strong technical expertise, a patented solution, and a comprehensive approach to environmental impact, transportation, and installation, they demonstrate that high performance can be combined with sustainability. The result is a green and high-tech lighting solution that redefines what we can expect from the lighting of the future.

– It feels absolutely fantastic – this confirms that what we’re doing is not only unique but also plays a crucial role in the future and development of our industry. It’s also incredibly encouraging to hear that all the jury members unanimously saw us as the clear winners, says Jacqueline Hedin, CEO of Lumine North.
