PulpaTronics has been named one of the winners of this year’s Global Change Award, presented by the H&M Foundation. The award is one of the world’s largest in sustainable fashion and aims to accelerate the transformation of the textile industry toward a circular future.
– This year’s winners are not just solving problems; they’re rethinking the systems behind them. Their ideas reflect the kind of early-stage innovation we need to unlock system-level change, and remind us that transformation starts with brave, often uncertain steps, says Annie Lindmark, Programme Director, H&M Foundation.
– Winning this award is a powerful validation of our mission. The staggering volume of unnecessary e-waste generated by these RFID tags is an urgent crisis that can’t be ignored. Having the support from the H&M Foundation to accelerate our R&D towards commercialisation shows that the fashion industry is ready to stand with us to lead the charge toward meaningful change, says Chloe So, Co-Founder & CEO Pulpatronics

PulpaTronics is being recognized for its groundbreaking technology that replaces traditional RFID tags with environmentally friendly alternatives — a solution that could revolutionize traceability in the fashion industry.
About the Global Change Award
The Global Change Award was launched in 2015 by the H&M Foundation. Each year, ten winners share a 2 million EUR grant and take part in the international Changemaker Program, which offers support, mentorship, and global exposure to help bring their ideas to life. The goal is to support the textile industry in halving its emissions every decade, aiming to reach net-zero by 2050.
