Chantiers Chibougamau visits Sweden and Sting Bioeconomy

In November, Sting Bioeconomy had the pleasure of welcoming Canadian company Chantiers Chibougamau to Sweden as part of Sting Bioeconomy’s Industry Partner Program. The visit formed an important step in the strategic collaboration between the organizations. In addition to meeting with Sting Bioeconomy, Chantiers visited LignoCity, another member of the Industry Partner Program, Valmet and several accelerator companies on a “bioeconomy road trip”, including Bright Day Graphene, Fibu, CellOfibers, and Lixea, for discussions and knowledge exchange.

– It was a highly rewarding trip. We met several very exciting companies and had insightful discussions about their operations and future opportunities. We look forward to continuing our work together with Sting Bioeconomy and the accelerator companies, says Williams Munoz Toro, Chantiers Chibougamau.

– The visit from Chantiers Chibougamau highlights the commitment we already see in our collaboration. It was a valuable exchange that provided important insights, and we look forward to developing this work further together, says Torbjörn Trelsmo, Manager of Sting Bioeconomy’s Industry Partner Program.
