Hempster Joins Sting Bioeconomy’s Accelerator

Sting Bioeconomy kicks off collaboration with nutritional hempdrinks from Sörmland. We are excited to welcome Hempster, the Swedish innovator behind fresh, organic hemp-based drinks, into the Sting Bioeconomy accelerator. Hempster is transforming how plant-based nutrition is created and consumed by leveraging the nutritional benefits of hemp in a tasty, sustainable format.

When grown and consumed in the right way – hemp is a nutrient-dense, planet-positive plant that delivers complete plant protein, healthy omega fats, and essential nutrition – while also capturing four times more CO₂ than trees, producing zero waste, restoring soil health, and supporting biodiversity.

Hempster’s range of minimally processed, nutrient-rich hemp beverages are packed with omega fatty acids, complete plant protein, vitamins, and minerals – a genuinely natural snack and drink alternative. The Swedish company is run by Bettina Schütz and Paul Bradley, and what started out as a passion project has grown into an ambitious plant based micro-dairy with the goal of changing the food-system for the better.

Hempster is promoting both resilience and flavour

– We are delighted to welcome Hempster into the Sting Bioeconomy accelerator. Their commitment to innovative plant-based nutrition aligns closely with the broader potential of bio-based circular innovation to enable healthier and more sustainable food production and consumption. Hempster is exactly the kind of company we want to help grow, says Victor Isaksen, CEO of Sting Bioeconomy.

– The support from Sting Bioeconomy gives us a unique possibility to scale our plant-based micro-dairy technology and take our nutritious hempdrinks to the market. We look forward to an exciting collaboration around commercialisation, partnerships and a joint contribution to a more sustainable and resilient food system, says Bettina Schütz CEO & Co-founder of Hempster.

We look forward to supporting Hempster, as they continue to show how the health of people and planet can go hand in hand.
